Great big smiles, fist bumps and a few tips about playing hockey here in Ottawa is everything the Prospects program is all about.

Last Friday on November 10, South End Minor Hockey had over 450+ of their players, parents and friends come out to support their Ottawa 67’s as they battled the Oshawa Generals. Lucky players from their association got the full 67’s Prospects experience including dressing room tours, 67’s bench experiences that had the kids witness the 67’s warm up right from their bench, high five the players as they come off the ice and even some intermission ice time to showcase their skills in front of the 67’s fans! During the bench experience the children got to talk with some of their favourite 67’s and share multiple laughs with the guys as they prepared for their game versus Oshawa.

The kids had an absolute blast being up close and personal with the 67’s as they cruised to a 5-3 victory over Oshawa in front of a backed house here at the Arena at TD Place! These were experiences that the we hope the children will remember for the rest of their lives and hope their minor hockey experience has changed forever. We absolutely love seeing all these minor hockey players come out and support the 67’s especially when it brings a smile to everyone involved.
